Not soojh-boojh but a hologram sarkar: Ahmed Patel

Ahmed Patel, political secretary to the All India Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Rajya Sabha MP from Gujarat took potshots at Union finance minister Arun Jaitley while speaking at Tagore Hall in Ellisbridge.

Jaitley had said the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Union government was a ‘soojh boojh ki sarkar’ (a government of consultation) in reply to Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi’s jibe calling it a ‘suit-boot ki sarkar’.

While addressing the state Congress celebrations of Gujarat Foundation Day and World Labour Day, Patel said: “This government is not a soojh-boojh vali sarkar but a hologram government. The PM, while on tour to Germany made a hologram presentation of the ‘Make in India’ lion, but as you cannot touch or feel the hologram, one cannot feel the development claims made by the PM.”
