Rahul Gandhi Seeks Answers From ‘Maunsahab’ Modi on Corruption Allegations

New Delhi, December 11: In ‘question a day’ series in the run up to Gujarat Assembly elections, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi asked ‘Maunsahab’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi to answer on the allegations of corruption in Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC), electricity, metro. Rahul also sought answer from the Prime Minister on whose ‘ache din’ was the Bharatiya Janata Party government was formed for.
In his 13th question, Rahul on Monday said, “The Prime Minister will give an answerable government but then why Lokpal was sidelined. There has been corruption in GSPC, electricity, metro but the Prime Minister is keen on filling the pockets of his friends. There is a long list and the ‘maunsahab’ is required to answer these questions.”
The tagline of his posers to the prime minister is “22 salon ka hisaab, Gujarat mange jawaab (Gujarat demands answers for 22 years of BJP rule)”.
The Gandhi scion had earlier called the Narendra Modi government a ‘suit-boot ki sarkar’ which is helping only a few industrialists and ignoring common man. The Amethi MP has been hitting out at the Prime Minister, his government over a host of issues with a focus now being on the issues faced by the Gujarati people.
The first phase of Gujarat polls was held on December 9 which witnessed 68 per cent voter turnout. The second phase of Gujarat polling is on December 14. The results will be declared on December 18.
