Foundation of inflation is fuel price hike, says Rahul Gandhi

Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, who has been touring Gujarat, said the foundation of inflation was the increase in the petrol and diesel prices. He also said that the ruling government should include fuel prices in the Goods and Services Tax (GST) rates, responding to a question about the fuel price hike in Vadodara.

Mr. Gandhi added that there would be an inflationary impact of the GST also in the coming days.
