Congress provides relief material to flood hit North Gujarat

GPCC President Bharatsinh Solanki has stated that relief from state government has not reached to flood hit area of North Gujarat. Congress has started relief work for flood affected people of Banaskantha and Patan in North Gujarat.

“Appeal to all my congressmen to whole heartedly help people in Kutch and North Gujarat in overcoming the worst disaster they have suffered!”

There are drinking water problems in Radhanpur, Santrampur and Sami villages. Children and women face hardship. No relief material has reached to people in North Gujarat.

Due to non availability of precise latitude-longitude of the area, providing of relief material to people using Helicopter was not possible.

Many people in North Gujarat had cattle and animals, they were also drowned in the flood.

Gujarat Congress workers have started supplying relief material in North Gujarat on their own. Relief material with a tempo load of biscuits, Packets of wheat flour in packs of 5 kg, rice in 2 kg packs and Mung Dal in 1 Kg pack in 2 trucks have been readied for North Gujarat flood hit people.
