Cong to boycott govt events in protest

Gujarat Congress has announced that its elected members in various district and taluka panchayats will boycott state government functions till the government addresses the problems being faced by the families affected by the recent floods. Nishit Vyas, party general secretary, said, “While farmers and others are facing lot of hardship due to the recent floods, the state government is busy in unnecessary government events. The Congress party has decided to boycott all government functions till it resolves people’s grievances.“
