Amit Shah has mocked Constitution, alleges Satav

Member of Parliament Rajiv Satav of Congress on Thursday said BJP president Amit Shah has mocked Indian Constitution after the latter called JPC jhooti party Congress. In response to Congress president Rahul Gandhi’s demand for a joint parliamentary committee (JPC) probe into Rafale deal, Shah had tweeted on Wednesday and said Rahul quoted different prices of Rafale at different places and called his party jhooti party Congress.
“The Indian Constitution allows for a JPC probe in such matters. By mocking JPC, Shah has mocked Constitution of India,” Satav, who is in-charge of Gujarat, said. He reiterated that Congress wants a JPC probe into Rafale deal. “We have already given a letter demanding JPC probe to Lok Sabha speaker and will soon take the issue to the people,” Satav, who was in the city, added.

Congress has been alleging that Rafale aircraft deal is a scam by accusing the government of buying the aircraft at a much higher cost from France.
