‘Gujarat model of development has completely collapsed': Congress

Taking a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress leader Manish Tewari on Monday said the Gujarat model of development has completely collapsed and the latest incidents in the state is a subset of what is happening in the country.

“The Gujarat model of development has completely collapsed and in India it has been blown to smithereens by the sheer ineptness of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and his Cabinet colleagues in being able to handle India,” Tewari told ANI.

“So, therefore, what is happening in Gujarat is really a subset of what is happening in the country,” he added while reacting to the violence that erupted in parts of Gujarat following a massive Patel community rally in Mehsana.
