Bihar verdict will repeat in Gujarat local body polls: Congress

Gujarat unit of Congress party today in a statement said the election results in Bihar will repeat in upcoming local body polls in Gujarat. State part president Bharatsinh Solanki said arrogance, irresponsible statements, price hike and corruption were contributing factors to defeat of BJP in Bihar.

In same statement, state Congress spokesperson Nishit Vyas said that Bihar is pre-Diwali cleaning drive, the actual Diwali will be witnessed on DevDiwali which Gujarat voters would celebrate by voting in favor of Congress party.

The state Congress workers joined by city level leaders in Ahmedabad celebrated the victory of JDU-RJD-Congress alliance in Bihar by bursting crackers outside the state party headquarters.

Meanwhile in a statement, the state BJP spokesperson IK Jadeja said that Congress should stop dreaming. Jadeja said BJP is expecting to achieve 151 seat target in Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation(AMC) election.
