Botad BJP workers join Congress

Gujarat Congress president Bharatsinh Solanki and former state party president Siddharth Patel today in presence of media inducted Botad taluka panchayat president CB Patel, BJP vice president Dineshbhai Dalsaniya, Diamond Association president Shankarbhai Patel and other leaders into Congress party. Botad district Congress president DM Patel was present during the induction ceremony. Congress is trying to woo Patels by moving Siddharth Patel and other Patel leaders of party to pockets of Patel populated areas across Gujarat. Those who left BJP to join Congress today from Botad are from Patel community.
